Named after the Nordic god Thor, Þórsmörk is one of the most incredible spot on our small island of ice. A valley, locked in with glaciers on each side, accessible only by jeeps, converted buses and feet; whether they be the average two on humans or those four on horses.

Pick-up
Passengers get picked up in their accommodation in Reykjavík or anywhere on the way.

Gígjökull Icefall
Gígjökull is an icefall out of the famous Eyjafjallajökull glacier, that caused so much uproar in 2010 when it erupted and stranded flight passengers all around the globe.

Drive Stakkholtsgjá
Stakkholtsgjá is a charming narrow canyon where you can enjoy nature, birdlife and of course cold, clean mountain water. The canyon is 2 km deep and ends with a small but beautiful waterfall.

Langidalur & Valahnúkur
We’ll drive into Langidalur Valley and stop there. Optional hike to the 480 m peak of Valahnúkur and breath in the colorful vista and the fantastic view

Seljalandsfoss Waterfall
Have you ever walked behind a waterfall? Well, now you can! Seljalandsfoss is magical with its elfish backdrop and walk-behind feature.

Return to Reykjavík
After a day packed with wonders we’ll head back to Reykjavík, or to the accommodation of your wishes.
