Ask any school-kid in Europe how Italy looks like and it will give you the right answer straight away. Ask the same kid how Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland looks like and it will most likely not come up with an answer. Reykjanes Peninsula and the peninsula of Italy could be the footwear of a gigantic one legged troll-mother and her one legged daughter. Explore this highly volcanic peninsula and all its possibilities, take a bath in the unique Blue Lagoon, visit our Viking ancestors, and feast upon the local cuisine.

Suggested Itinerary for the Reykjanes Peninsula
1
Pick-up
Passengers get picked up in their accommodation in Reykjavík or somewhere on the way.
2
Lake Kleifarvatn
Kleifarvatn is a beautiful lake on the Reykjanes peninsula. In an earthquake in the year 2000, the bottom of the lake cracked open and one fifth of the lake vanished. But no worries, it came back!
3
Seltún Geothermal Area
Like a cuter, more private version of the Geysir Area. Breath in the stench of sulfur and take a look at the prettiest color palette you’ve ever seen. Reds and greens and browns and blues that make your eyes water with excitement.
4
Lunch at Salthúsið Restaurant
Salthúsið prides itself of the salty bacalao, but also serves other Icelandic dishes (not included in price).
5
Reykjanesviti Lighthouse
Are you a lighthouse lover? There’s something fantastic about lighthouses. For centuries they have lit the way for sailors and provided them with a safe passage. This is extremely important for a fisherman’s nation such as ours. Reykjanesviti is the oldest lighthouse in Iceland.
6
Garðskagaviti Lighthouse
Garðskagaviti lighthouse, with its two iconic red strips, sits on the point of the toe of the boot like Reykjanes Peninsula.
7
Víkingaheimar Museum
The Viking World Museum is the home of the viking ship Íslendingur and host different exhibitions on the settlement and life of the vikings (not included in price).
8
The Blue Lagoon
After a day of exploration you deserve some relaxation! The Blue Lagoon is a haven for sore muscles and skin in need of nutrients. The silica mud makes your skin silky smooth (and your hair like a scarecrows straw-wig. There I’ve warned you!) and the lagoon is brilliantly blue, like that of a fairy tale. (Admission not included in tour price).
9
Dinner at Max’s Restaurant
Dine with a view over the geothermal area, the mountains and perhaps even the northern lights! (not included in price)
10
Hunt for the Northern Lights (only in winter)
If weather, brightness and solar gas fluxes permit, we’ll try to hunt down the Aurora Borealis. This is only possible from September 1st to April 20th.
11
Return to Reykjavík
After a day packed with wonders we’ll head back to your accommodation in Reykjavík.
