The northern lights (Aurora borealis) are without a doubt nature’s most spectacular creation. In this tour, your private guide will take you on a short ride outside of Reykjavík to hunt for picturesque spots to see the northern lights. Our guides are passionate about these natural phenomena and will tell you everything about the science and lore behind the northern lights, take high-quality photos of your journey to share with you, and offer you warm beverages and Icelandic snacks.
We offer a few different modes of transport on this tour. Do you want to do the tour in a super jeep, a minibus or an SUV? That’s your choice!
Please note: the northern lights can be unpredictable and on some nights they may not appear at all. In that case, you will be given fair warning and the option to re-book your tour for a later date.
Northern light tours are not available in the summer.
